NOBODY knows the Day or Hour

Mat 24:36 KJV
(36) But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

What day or hour does no man know? Is this the Rapture or do we just assume this is the Rapture? Let us look at this verse again but include the verse before it as well.

Mat 24:35-36 KJV
(35) Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
(36) But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

When reading these two verses, can you see which day the Lord is referring of? Is this the Rapture?

Above you will see Matthew and Mark giving us exactly the same outcome. Which day and hour do we not know?

Mat 25:1-13 KJV

(1) Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

(2) And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

(3) They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

(4) But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

(5) While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

(6) And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

(7) Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

(8) And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

(9) But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

(10) And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

Is the lamp the Word of God? Is the Oil the Wisdom we obtained through studying Scriptures? Is the Vessel our "mind/body/soul"? Is the difference between the wise and foolish virgins in that the wise took the time in studying scripture and filling their vessels with the Wisdom from the Word of God and the foolish trusted only in the little bits they received from the pulpit? THE VALUE OF WISDOM

Lord, thank You for Your Word, Your commands within me are treasured as it guides my ears toward wisdom and teaching me to apply my heart to understanding. Lord, I beg for You to teach me discernment, more and more each day, lifting my voice for understanding, seeking the hidden treasures of wisdom, discernment and understanding. Teach me what it means to fear You, my Lord and teach me Your knowledge. Thank You Lord, for the wisdom You give. Thank You Lord, for the knowledge and understanding which comes from Your mouth. Lord, may You find me worthy enough to store up sound wisdom and be a shield to me. Lord thank You for guarding the paths of justice and preserving the way of Your saints, so that I will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path. Lord, allow wisdom to enter my heart and knowledge to be pleasant to my soul. Thank You Lord, to know that the teachings of discretion will preserve me. The teachings of understanding will keep me, to deliver me from the way of evil and from the man who speaks perverse things. From those who leave the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness. Who rejoice in doing evil, and delight in the perversity of the wicked. Whose ways are crooked and who are devious in their paths. To deliver me from the immoral woman, from the seductress who flatters with her words, who forsakes the companion of her youth and forgets the covenant of her God, for her house leads down to death and her paths to the dead. None who go to her return, nor do they regain the paths of life. Thank You Lord, for the protection of Your wisdom, discernment and understanding, so that I may walk in the way of goodness and keep to the paths of righteousness. THE BEGINNING OF KNOWLEDGE

Lord, I pray that You would teach me to know the wisdom and instructions written in your scripture, perceiving the words of understanding and receiving the instruction of wisdom, justice, judgment and equity. Lord, teach me to give prudence to the simple. Knowledge through reading your scripture and discretion when sharing your scripture with others. Lord, I want to hear your Word and learn more each day with Your wise counsel. Lord, help me understand your proverbs and mysteries, the words of the wise and their riddles. Lord, have mercy on me if I become foolish and start to despise your wisdom and instructions, please guide me so that I may remain in Your teaching.

SHUN EVIL COUNSEL

Lord, help me to adhere to the instructions of my father and the law of my mother, let them be a graceful ornament on my head and chains about my neck. Lord, help me to resist against others who may want to lead me into sin. Help me to say "No!" when they want me to lie in wait with them to shed blood. Help me to say "No!" when they want me to lurk secretly with them for the innocent without cause. Help me to say "No!" when they want me to join them by swallowing them alive like Sheol and whole like those who go down to the Pit. When they say "We shall find all kinds of precious possessions, we shall fill our houses with spoil; Cast in your lot among us, Let us all have one purse", allow me not to fall into temptation, by running with them towards evil. Lord, help me not to be greedy.

THE CALL OF WISDOM

Lord, help me to listen when you want to teach me wisdom. Lord, allow my love for Your Word to grow each day finding delight in the knowledge and wisdom You teach. Lord, please have mercy on me and help me to accept Your calling and receive Your outstretched hand learning from Your counsel and rebuke so that I may be saved. Please have mercy on me my Lord. Lord, Thank You for Your promise to keep me safe and secure without fear of evil.

The Holy Spirit My Teacher

“But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.”

1 John 2:27

"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you."

John 14:26

The Holy Spirit is our Teacher, he teaches us through the Bible - how can I say this? He brings to REMEMBRANCE whatsoever I (Jesus/God) has said. When you have read something in the past which relates to what you may be going through at the time, the Holy Spirit will remind you of this at the right time.

“Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.”

Psalm 119:18

“Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”

John 14:17

“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints”

Ephesians 1:17,18

“And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears.”

Isaiah 11:2,3

The Holy Spirit is all you need to teach you the Bible, the Word of God. You do not need any man to teach you. When reading the above verses, do you think the Holy Spirit is capable of teaching us Himself? Or do you think He needs some help? Is the Bible enough or do we need more than the Bible in order to learn and understand the Bible?

“But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.”

Isaiah 28:13

The Holy Spirit makes use of repetition and review to teach us.

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

2 Timothy 1:7

“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.”

Romans 8:16

So, the Holy Spirit knows who is God’s children.

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”

Romans 8:26,27

WOW! The Holy Spirit helps us with our prayer? Not just that, He actually intercedes for us? Now, is that not wonderful? How the Lord Jesus must love us to give us such a gift!

Rapture Timing

Please note that this blog IS NOT to calculate when the Lord Jesus would return. This blog is created to focus on the Rapture Timing according to the 7 Years Peace in the Middle East and Israel spoken of in Daniel. That said, let us first see what the 3 different views are:

1.    Pre-Trib    -    This means that the Lord Jesus would Rapture the church from the Earth before the 7 Year Peace Treaty is signed.

2.    Mid-Trib    -    This means that the Lord Jesus would Rapture the church from the Earth in the Middle of the 7 Years Peace Treaty and before the Antichrist is revealed.

3.    Post-Trib Pre-Wrath    -    This means that the Rapture would occur after the 7 Years Peace Treaty has finished but before God's wrath is poured out on earth.

Now these are the various views held by CHRISTIANS who reads the SAME Bible. Does this make sense? Let us (just for a moment) forget what we have been learned and see what scripture has to say.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 (KJV)

V1
Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

Please note that this verse shows some important informations about the rest of this chapter. Firstly, it says "brethren" with other words these words are for believers not unbelievers. Secondly, this chapter is about our Lord Jesus second coming as well as the Rapture (gathering together).

v2
That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

Again in the second verse it shows that this chapter is about the Lord's second coming.

v3
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Now the message at hand starts with what? "Let no man deceive you". This message is a warning to us as believers. What should we not be deceived about? "for that day shall not come, except" - Something is witholding Jesus second coming, remember we have already established that this chapter is about Jesus second coming and the Rapture. What must happen before Jesus comes again? "Except there come a falling away first". Can this be unbelievers which is spoken of here? How can one fall away from something you were never into to begin with? Christians will lose focus on the Bible, the Truth thereby causing them to fall away from the truth. What must happen next? "And that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition". The Antichrist must be revealed before Jesus second coming. Let us see if this is correct.

v4
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

The above continues by saying what the Antichrist will do and how he will be. Why would they mention this to the believers if the believers would be Raptured before hand?

v5
Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

Jesus realised that we need to be warned before it happens so that we will know that it is the truth. Matthew 24 also has the warning of "I tell you this before hand". This must be important if that statement is said.

v6
And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

What is withholding who of being revealed? Who? Our Lord Jesus. What prevents him from being revealed? The "falling away" must first occur and then the Antichrist must be revealed before Jesus will return.

v7
For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will now let, until he be taken out of the away.

What is already at work? Deception. Satan is already out to deceive us. He will try to deceive us in the same way in which he tried to deceive Jesus, he will use scripture out of context and for us to be able to descern right from wrong we will need to know scripture. We need to know the truth - how else will we be able to identify the false if we dont know the truth?

v8
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming

In verse 3 says that the "falling away" must occur first, now in this verse we see that then the "Wicked" shall be revealed, this is the Antichrist. Jesus will destroy him - the Antichrist - with the brightness of His coming. Once again we see that the Rapture will NOT occur before the Antichrist is revealed, therefore the "pre-trib" theory is a deception as well as the "mid-trib" which believe that the Antichrist will be revealed only after the Rapture.

v9-10
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

The Antichrist will come as the working of Satan with ALL power and signs and lying wonders, not just some of his works - as pre-trib or mid-trib would have you believe.

v11
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be dammed who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

If we are not willing to stand firm on the truth - even if we may lose friends or family - then God HIMSELF will send a strong delusion that we may believe the LIE. Do you realise what this means? Are you willing to take a chance with your soul?
