The Prayer Room

The Prayer Room is where I will add prayers which is based on scripture. I would suggest that you start with Proverbs as this great book is about God teaching us wisdom. Praying scripture is also a great way to learn how to pray. Try it for yourself. I have learned so much about both scripture as well as prayer by doing this. My purpose of the Prayer Room is to share this with you.

My prayer for you, the reader:

"Lord, I pray that the one who reads these prayers will find wisdom and understanding in praying, but also in Your great word. May the one who reads these prayers be blessed with wisdom and understanding which comes from Your word. May You bless him/her and reveal the mysteries of Your word and prayer. May he/she learn to love Your word more and more with each word he/she reads. Lord, may You lead me in writing these prayers so that Your blessings may pour on each reader who reads these prayers. Lord, thank You for allowing me to be able to do his for You."

1 Timothy 4:12-16

Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in the world, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
